Phobias

I've had some fun with The Phobia List. There are over 500 various phobias listed, all allegedly from legit material. There's fear of looking up (anablephobia), fear of sitting (thaasophobia), and fear of beards (pogonophobia). Regarding my delusional parasitosis, I learned of that elsewhere.

Literary Tattoos

Contrariwise: Literary Tattoos has been holding my attention for longer than I expected. It's the end of Neil Gaiman theme week, with 5 days of Gaiman-inspired tattoos. All of them are related to Sandman. There are plenty of other 'literary' tattoos on the site. One with a poem by e. e. cummings is kind of neat, and reminds me why I (who am not too knowledgeable about poetry) like cummings. Then there's the very frightening Misspellings theme week.

Coraline report

I went to see Coraline shortly after its release. I wasn't sure I wanted to see it in 3-D, but I did anyway and was quite impressed. 3-D seems much improved since I last saw whatever forgettable movie I saw in 3-D. Check out the article, Trivia and Fun Facts about Coraline. It's quite interesting and gives lots of things to look for when I go see the movie again.
