I use Yahoo! a lot. Yeah, there are some things that it's not great for, but I still use Y! a heck of a lot more than I use search engines. I wasn't really aware of this, but Y!'s magazine, Yahoo Internet Life, is online.

I'm doing some surfing; right now am checking out spooky stuff. This site: The Moving Glass Page - Experiences is mainly about Ouija boards, though there are some 'garden variety' ghost stories as well. All very interesting. I've not been so skeptical about this kind of stuff lately because a couple of friends have told me about ghostly experiences that they've had. Now that I'm less skeptical, I'm actually less afraid of the dark and the thought of ghosts. Kinda odd, but there you have it.

Hmm. I have to work in the morning. 7am. Yes, on a Saturday. And I've about had my fill of the web today. I didn't have to work today, and I've been on the web for hours 'n hours. Nothing really wrong with that, but it's above my usual amount.

I was reading stuff at The Crime Library earlier today. I'd read about the site in Yahoo! Internet Life. My dad sent me a copy. It was there that I learned about The Crime Library as well as... blogging! I gotta say the site was pretty interesting. I hadn't known squat about Son of Sam or the Jonestown stuff. (it's 'Jonestown,' isn't it?) I had no idea HOW MANY people (900+) had been in the mass suicide.

On a more cheerful note, my current desktop was a download from the Tomb Raider movie site. The site's worth a look. Or more than a look. I had to say to myself, "Go to bed," a couple dozen times before I tore myself from the site yesterday.

Okee-doke. That worked :) Thanks to Webmonkey and Blogger. Of course, Blogger's got it's banner up there.... I've just now seen what the template I chose looks like as a web page. I'll work on that at some point. Change the banner to some other graphic.... Play around with the rest.

I've just discovered 'blogging.' Of course, I'd run across weblogs in my surfing and I'd liked them and been interested in doing something similar, but didn't know there was a whole world of blogs out there. So I'm gonna see how this goes.
